Part 12 - All of Truth

Truth is timeless. Truth was true then and is true now and will be true forever, because Truth is not a philosophy or a creed. Truth is a Person.
Jesus said, "I am...the truth" (John 14:6)
Truth is not just a theology, the study of God, but a theocracy - being ruled by God. This means that for you and me there are no decisions to make, but only instructions to obey.

Jesus Christ Himself is the final revelation of all truth. He is all we need to know about God, and man. Being the truth about man, He demonstrates to us (by the way He lived then in His relationship with the Father) exactly how we are to live now in our relationship with Christ, if we have opted out of Adam and into Him to be restored to function by allowing Him to live through us. That is why we need to keep our gaze constantly upon the person of the Lord Jesus Himself.

He was with God in the beginning, and was God, and is God, and as the Creative Word, all things were made by Him. When He came to this earth, however, He became Man as God intended man to be. When He said,"I am the way," He was telling us, "I am how you can become a Christian, for I died for you." When He said, "I am the life," He was telling us, "I am how you can be the Christian you have become." Jesus is the Truth about the Way and the Truth about the Life !

In all His activities, He did so as Man, even though He was God. He knew that in His perfection as Man, He had been vested by the Father with all that God had originally intended to vest in man, which is "all things." In other words, a functional man has an unlimited call upon the inexhaustible supplies of Deity. He was Perfect Man, totally, unrelentingly, unquestioningly available, and that is why "all things" were available to Him.

This is the Christ, the wonderful Saviour whom Paul was so utterly determined to know. His supreme ambition was not to learn new ministry techniques and methodologies or more insightful psychological solutions to human problems, but to know Jesus Christ and the unlimited power flowing from His resurrection. God wants all of us to know what Paul longed to know. He wants us to "know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and His incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of His mighty strength, which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms." (Eph.1:19,20)

Grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. John 1:17
